Hallucinogens

General Information:

People who use hallucinogens disrupt their nervous system which effects the way we view the world. This can then cause hallucinations. People who use hallucinogens have a hard time focusing and concentrating, they also have difficulties telling the difference between reality and hallucinations, and they have issues communicating.

Effects vary according to the person and the specific formula used to make the drug. Some of the side effects may include:

Short Term Effects

~ Dry mouth and tremors

~ Dilated pupils

~ Loss of appetite

~ Increased heart rate     and blood pressure

~ Sweating

~ Increased body temperature

~ Possible Death

Long Term Effects

~ Depression

~Flashbacks

~ Schizophrenia

~ Possible Death
